Jill Scott has finally announces the title and release date for her new album, Woman.
The singer, who executive produced the album, described the upcoming project as “classic Philly soul meets country rhythm served with captivating storytelling,” according to Billboard. She’s teamed with longtime collaborator Andre Harris and songwriter/producer Aaron Pearce.
The disc will include her buzz single “You Don’t Know,” and lead single, “Fools Gold,” which has become her 13th top-10 Adult R&B hit.
You can expect her fifth studio project to arrive on July 24 via Atlantic Records.
The set serves as the follow-up to 2011’s The Light of the Sun, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
